Using the On-line Calendar
Calendar Basics
- Every event can be clicked on, if you'd like more information than is in the Pop-up.
- From an event's page, you can Print, E-mail it, or Download it as a vcs file, for import into a Calendar such as Outlook, iCal, or Palm vCal.
- The events that require sign up are designated by the underlined event titles. Click on the underlined event title to sign up for the event.
- You can click on "Display Your Personal Schedule" to see the events for which you are currently signed up.
- You will need your last name and the confirmation number for one of the events you’ve registered for in order to see the list.
- You can filter by types of events by clicking Search or Search Slider at the top left of the Calendar
- You can change display formats by click List View at the top left of the calendar. You can do this on the main Calendar page, or once you've run a search.

Registering for an Event through the Calendar
- Once at the calendar, find the event you wish to register for, and click its link. This will take you to the Event Registration form.
- Make sure any stipulations listed are met. If they are, fill out the Registration fields.
- If you have questions, you can put them in the Notes field, or you can contact the Event Contact Person directly. Their information will be listed on the registration page.
- Once you click Complete Registration, you will see a confirmation screen telling you that you've registered. We do not yet have the E-notify module, so you will not get e-mail notification of your registration unless a staff member sends it (if you’ve supplied your address).
- Once you are registered for events, you can view them at any time by going to the Calendar and clicking on Display Personal Schedule. You will need your last name and the confirmation number for one of the events you’ve registered for.
- Events can also be downloaded to personal calendars. If you are viewing the Calendar in Calendar View, click on an event to get its details/registration page, then click the Download to calendar link. The file is in vcs format. This works with Palm, iCal, Outlook, and many other programs.
