Gale Literature Resource Center - Critical essays on contemporary authors, lives and careers of authors of all eras and genres, biographies and bibliographies on more than 90,000 contemporary authors.
Funded by the RCLS Central Library (Newburgh Free Library).
Novelist - NoveList contains materials for all ages including picture books, children's "chapter" books, young adult titles and books for adult readers. Besides locating books to read, users can learn more about books and authors through Author Read-alikes, Feature Articles, Book Discussion Guides, and BookTalks. These features have been developed specifically with NoveList users in mind, offering support for librarians, teachers, and individual readers.

Novelist K-8 - NoveList (K-8) allows you to discover the fiction titles that are popular with young readers, as well as titles to use in your classroom. NoveList (K-8) contains materials for all K-8 grade levels, and includes picture books, children's chapter books and young adult titles. Updated monthly.


Twayne's Authors - Features the content of nearly 600 books that comprise three print series: United States Authors, English Authors and World Authors, each of which were carefully coordinated with input from librarians and educators to include authors universally studied in high schools and colleges.
