Looking for Something?
Main Page
There are a few different ways to navigate this site.
The
Main Page contains easy access links to the most commonly used features of the site. It also contains a menu at the bottom of the page, "Dig Deeper," which contains most of the rest of the content from our old menu. Our understanding was that the menu was at time confusing to people, staff included, which is what led us to change the look and feel. In addition, the new layout provides easier access to folks who can't or don't enable javascript, which the drop-down menu requires.
Site Index
The
Site Index (previously the Site Map) lists every page on the site, broken up by category. If you don't immediately see something on the main page, this may be the way to go. It would also be the place to look if you can't access the Dig Deeper menu due to javascript restrictions.
Google Search Box
There is a Google Search box on the main page of this site, as well as on the Adult page, and some of the policy pages. If you're looking for something, and are in a hurry, just run a search, and be sure to mark the "this site" button. If it's here, it will find it for you.
Getting Help On-line
- Visit the Full-time Staff Directory or the E-mail Us page, if you would like to Contact a Staff Member directly
- Visit our newly installed On-line Support system to search for answers to common questions/issues.
- If you don't find an answer to your problem, please feel free to post your question [in the appropriate forum].
- The forums are moderated mainly by Jaemi, and we hope to be able to center our website support in this location. If you're not comfortable with the system, feel free to ask a Staff Member for assistance--we'd be happy to show you how to use it.
- Please note: All forums are open to the Public for posting, but in order to reply to other people's queries, registration is required. If you'd like to Register, simply click the Register link at the top of the page and follow the instructions.

Reader's Advisory
At this time, there are pretty much three ways to do your own Reader's Advisory through our site. You can keep up with staff reviews on the
What We're Reading page. You could use
NoveList, which offers reviews, search for similar books by author, and more. (Teens could also IM Jenni via Yahoo. SN: GosTeenLib) Or, you could stop by the
Read Something New page. At the moment, it's mainly geared toward the Teen audience, although YA books are not just for teens. There are however a list of external sites revolving around reading and readers, where you can do things like search books others have recently read, or reviews members have recently written, and even join the community if you like.
